Why and when did you decide to homeschool your children?

When our first born was about to enter pre-school, he had a trial run at a traditional school. However, my husband and I believed that our children could have better learning opportunities and character development through homeschooling.  We wanted our children to enjoy their childhood and the learning process.

Describe your homeschool in three words.

Cherished. Discipleship. Grace-filled.

What is your proudest homeschool moment?

One day, my six-year-old son explained what salvation is all about and what Jesus did for us. He even made a drawing about it.

How has homeschooling changed you?

I further appreciate the love for learning. As their teacher and mother, my character has been tested and developed. Moreover, I understand well my children and what motherhood is all about.

What are your favorite subjects to teach? Why?

Geography and History. My son is very interested in geography and history and so am I. We love to travel, so we visit museums and historical places which makes our learning more exciting.

What’s your goal as a home educator?

To raise godly children who love to learn and make learning the way of their lives. Also, we want our children to enjoy their childhood to the fullest. Early childhood is critical years for a child; it is their foundation. I want to be present for them. It is something I do not want to delegate to others.

How can we connect with you?
